The LEO Center and Washington DFL

Another day, another web site (or two).

I launched two more web sites today. The first was the Washington (state, not D.C.) chapter of the Democrats for Life. That web site can be found at washington.democratsforlife.org.

The second was the newly-redesigned web site for a local non-profit group, The LEO Center.

Needless to say, I’ve been busy.

I really do have a lot on my plate right now. There’s still about 10 more web sites to do, plus I’m actively working on what I need to do to fully incorporate the web design hobby into an actual business. To prepare for that, I’m reading, studying and planning everything I need to do to make that become a reality.

It’s far from easy.

I like these little challenges, although I’m struggling with the balancing act of trying to achieve my goals and also be a good family guy, too.

One thing I’ve noticed though all of my busy-ness this past week has been how much my body is suffering because of it. I don’t know why I can’t seem to stay focused with an exercise routine. It’s really depressing.

I’m the type of guy that won’t follow through with a week of exercise if I have even one bad day. I realize this is a horrible way to accomplish anything, but it’s really only in the area of exercising that I have this problem.

For instance, if I workout really good and then miss a day on Thursday, for instance, that will lead to me missing Friday and Saturday as well.

Why, oh why, do I do this?

I would like to say that I was happy to see Stephen comment on my last blog post. I know of people who read, but don’t comment. It’s OK to go ahead and comment. No body will bite (hard).
